Psychology is the scientific study of the human mind and behaviour. It involves understanding the principles of the sub fields of psychology, research methodology, psychological assessment and testing. Someone who is trained in this discipline can become a Psychologist

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Minimum of Honours Degree in Psychology/Psychological Science.
  • Core skills in the discipline of psychology.

Specific Job Titles

General Psychologist
In this role you might observe individuals, develop treatments, administer psychological tests, plan educational programs, conduct individual and group counselling sessions, write reports and conduct research. The specific duties of a psychologist can vary.
Psychologist Endorsed Registration
Psychologists might choose to complete postgraduate studies in different disciplines. Two common streams of endorsement are Clinical psychology and Organisational psychology.
